Céad míle fáilte - a hundred thousand welcomes to the Emerald Isle. You are heartedly welcome to our home where we can sleep 10 people comfortably.
Our Irish Open Accommodation pre-famine cottage dates from 1825.
DOWNSTAIRS:
Downstairs boasts of an open plan kitchen diner, a dining area with a cozy real fire(an ideal spot for sipping a glass or two late into the night), a boot room, two halls, a utility room and a music room.
BEDROOMS:
We have 5 bedrooms to offer which can be rearranged depending on your personal dynamics:
Bedroom 1: King bed ensuite with balcony
Bedroom 2: Double bed with beamed roof
Bedroom 3: Double bed and single bed with separate bathroom. Freestanding bath
Bedroom 4: Double bed with beamed roof
Bedroom 5: Two double beds with separate bathroom and shower
OUTSIDE AREA
We have three outside spaces
Area 1: The Haggard is a beautiful tranquil area with an orchard of plum, damson, apple and walnut trees.There is always a seat or hammock close by ready for relaxation and the enjoyment of wine o clock somewhere in the world.
Area 2:The courtyard is a suntrap in the morning,a place to feel the sun on your face and sip a coffee listening to the birds.
Area 3: Outside the french kitchen doors is the space we gather after school and work.It has a large eating area and a decking facing the mountain of Slievenamon. As we have a tribe of 4 children we have sport facilities galore -a basketball court,15ft trampoline, volleyball,bicycles, table tennis, soccer pitch, a zip wire,a gym in the barn and an above ground pool for the days when its not raining!!
