Nearby attractions include Silent Valley, Danny Water and the Carrick, all providing beautiful scenery for walking/hiking. Local restaurants are The Harbour Bar, The Galley, The Parlour and a Chinese.

There are 2 living areas with a wood burner in the main living area. There is also a patio area with a fire to enjoy a glass of wine if the weather permits.
