Irish Open 2024 Accommodation
This listing is for one of three, two bedroom sea front apartments. Each apartment sleeps four people. The apartments are located above the UK's only Seaweed Bathhouse. The listing includes four single seaweed baths sessions per apartment.
Each apartment has two double bedrooms with a double bed in each and is fully equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. All bedding and towels are provided as well as tea and coffee and a welcome basket with a range of local produce.
Over the 3 apartments we can accommodate a total of 12 people. We also have the beautiful "Coach House" available to rent for the event. This is located to the rear of the main building and can accommodate a further 9 people over 6 bedrooms. See our separate "Coach House" listing.
"Snooze Apartments" are a 10 minute walk from the Irish Open ticket entrance and the famous Royal County Down golf course. Located on the pretty and historic South Promenade we are a stones through from the sea, 2 minutes walk to the Central Promenade, bars, restaurants and cafes and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Newcastle. The famous, beautiful and majestic Mourne Mountain range is just to the rear of the property.
Enjoy a stay in one of our three stylish two bedroom apartments housed within two beautifully restored sea front Victorian buildings. Wake up to the sounds of the sea and enjoy your morning coffee with an incredible outlook. On a clear day, you can see the Isle of Man and Cumbria across the Irish Sea. In wilder weather, the waves crashing off Newcastle’s iconic Rockpool are simply spectacular. A two-minute stroll takes you to the historic harbour with a choice of two charming cafes for brunch. The popular Harbour Inn is a 2 minute walk from the property. Here you can enjoy delicious seafood, a bustling bar and live music or Mackens bar just across the road offers a great nights craic as well as jamming sessions including traditional Irish music sets. Join the open water swimmers at high tide for a harbour dip all year round… (or just watch). A short walk in the other direction, along our pretty promenade takes you into the vibrant town of Newcastle. This seaside town is bustling with shops, pubs and cafes. Our handy location means you mightn’t need the car, but comfortable walking shoes are a must in Newcastle. You are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to scenic walks and hikes from the doorstep.
After a day of adventures, relax in your comfortable, modern apartment. Enjoy your coastal surroundings while the lighthouse winks across the bay. You can relax and enjoy a hot seaweed bath after a long days golfing or de-stress those tense muscles with a full body massage in one of our treatment rooms.
This Irish Open Royal County Down property is 60 minutes from Belfast City Airport, 70 minutes from Belfast International Airport and 90 minutes from Dublin Airport.
Ardglass, Spa, Mayobridge and Banbridge golf clubs are just 30 minutes away, with Malone, Holywood and Royal Belfast golf clubs an hour's drive or less.
