Georgian House built in 1806. Now a protected structure. Ryder Cup Accommodation with extensive Walled garden to rear. 5 ensuite bedrooms available. Accommodates 10 - 12 sharing. Freshly cooked breakfast every morning. All rooms have views of canal to front and / or walled garden to rear. Wifi and tv's available in all rooms.
Our house is situated 1.5 hours from Dublin airport, approx 1 hours drive from Adare Manor. For local amenities, we have a local pub on the doorstep. Also serves food menu at weekends. Wider range of restaurants and pubs in nearby towns, all a short drive / taxi ride away. The Grand Canal greenway is also on our doorstep facilitating leisurely off road walking or cycling along the canal from here to Dublin. There are a number of excellent golf courses nearby, including Birr Golf Club and Esker Golf Club ( the home of Shane Lowry ) Other nearby attractions include Birr Castle & Gardens, the monastic site at Clonmacnoise & the Tullamore dew Distillery.
