Springfield castle is located within an hour from Limerick, Cork and Killarney and is an ideal base to tour from. We are just a 25 minute drive from Adare manor
The attractions in Limerick county range from historic interest, River Shannon, Atlantic Ocean and world renowned golf courses. We are also ideally located as a base to tour all the best attractions such as Killarney, The ring of Kerry, cliffs of Moher, Wild Atlantic way, Dingle, Blarney, Cork.
The closest airports are Shannon airport and Cork airport both about 1 hour and 20 minutes journey.
The castle sleeps up to 15 people in 8 bedrooms, 7 of these bedrooms are doubles but two of those double rooms can have the beds separated and can have 2 single beds per room. There is one single room
Five of the bedrooms are ensuite, 1 has a personal bathroom across the hall and 2 rooms share one bathroom.
The castle has a tennis court, soccer pitch, badminton, boules, croquet, archery on site and there are lovely picnic areas and BBQ spots as well as fantastic woodland walks. There are deer on the property which can be viewed while walking.

We can offer breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The dining options are many with traditional Irish meals, fine dining options, bbq asado options and authentic Neapolitan pizza options. We have a walled garden and use as much produce as we can from the garden in the meals.
We can also offer exclusive one of a kind experiences in our renovated medieval tower. There are options for
1. Irish whiskey tasting with charcuterie boards,
2. Medieval banquet with period costume talk and live harpist.
3. Storytelling in front of a roaring fire with cocktails and snacks
4. An all inclusive Irish night with 2 course meal, keg of Guinness and Irish musicians. These events can be held for up to 40 people.
