Beautiful traditional home rental for The Open with eight double bedrooms set in 0.75 acres on the edge of Angus countryside, an hours drive (40 miles) from the Old Course, St. Andrew’s. Very secure with private gated entrance and ample parking for ten cars on the grounds. We also have access to local farm and can arrange space to land a helicopter if required.
Leuchars train startion can easily be reached from Montrose within 40 minutes. The property is 43 miles from Aberdeen Airport and 85 miles from Edinburgh airport. Within 15 minutes drive some of the finest beaches on the east coast can be reached including Lunan Bay and St Cyrus Nature Reserve. Brechin Golf Course is within a stone’s throw of the property and Montrose Links (5th oldest course) is situated on the most famous coastline in the world for links golf and can be easily reached within 10 minutes.
Access to stunning countryside and outdoor activities, including some of Scotland’s best golf courses, walking, fishing and shooting. The large garden is perfect for al fresco dining, including a heated summerhouse with a sofa bed, small bar area & pool table and just outside the summerhouse there is a brand new hot tub with lounger (seats 7).
Level 1/ ground floor has a formal dining room that seats 12, beautiful drawing room with open fire, breakfasting kitchen (seats 8), TV/ cinema room large level-access double bedroom and shower room. The rooms all have access to Sonos music system.
Level 2 has 5 double bedrooms (2 super Kingsize beds, two Kingsize and a double). Two of the bedrooms have en suites and there is a large double aspect family bathroom.
Level 3 has 2 lovely double bedrooms with beautiful views across the Angus Countryside
Optional extras available at an additional cost include cleaning service, catering, and exclusive use of our VW Campervan (T28 2019 highline with luxury CamperKing conversion (www.cloud9campers.co.uk) for guests to use for the duration of their stay. We also have a self contained out building with a king sized bed in the mezzanine level, sofa bed, kitchenette and large shower room available for use at an additional charge- this can be separately negotiated.
