The Open 2022 Accommodation

The cosy former weavers cottage is an ideal location for The Open being only a 20 minute drive to St Andrew’s and on a regular bus service. There are many excellent courses to suit all abilities within a 30 minute drive of Tayport including Carnoustie, Downfield , Ladybank and Drumoig. Scotscraig, the 13th oldest golf course in the world is a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
Situated on the south bank of the River Tay, Tayport has a beautiful coastal setting. A 10 minute walk from the cottage takes you to food shops, cafes and takeaways. Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve is also only a 10 minute walk. The City of Dundee, a 10 minute drive or bus journey is home to the new V&A, and a range of excellent museums and visitor attractions as well as high quality restaurants.
There is a double bedroom on the first floor has an adjoining bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. The comfortable living room has a wood burning stove and TV. The adjoining kitchen contains a gas cooker, electric oven, fridge/freezer washing machine, dishwasher and a dining table/chairs for four people. The back door from the kitchen leads onto a sunny private garden with tables and chairs. The gas centrally heated cottage has abundant storage. There is plenty of on street parking beside the cottage.
