Our beautiful home dates from the 1800s but is fully modernised inside. Accommodation for The Open less than 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh airport, 60 minutes from Glasgow airport and 40 minutes to the first tee at The Old Course, our property is ideally situated with easy access to the motorway. A 30-minute drive will take you to Gleneagles. Our home is located directly opposite Milnathort Golf Club which welcomes visitors and is a two-minute walk from our front door to the first tee. The golf course has been nominated as Scotland's Best 9 hole golf course and is a Scottish Golf Championship venue. The property comprises of a kitchen, dining room, lounge, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a lovely garden with a patio and separate decking area which overlooks a park. We are located in the centre of Milnathort village which has a pub (dating back to 1728), shops, pharmacist, cafe and some great restaurants close by. We are a short walk to Loch Leven (famous for its brown trout) and Castle Island, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned. A truly wonderful place to stay.
