It is situated in a peaceful residential area 10 mins walk from the town centre and 2 minutes walk from beautiful East Sands beach. The Old Course is approximately 20 minutes by foot and only 5 mins by car. The property has free, private, off road parking for 2 vehicles with further on street parking opposite. It has a private garden with small patio and benefits from a portable bbq, coolbag and camping chairs which can be used in the garden or taken the short walk to the beach. The local leisure centre with swimming pool is a 2 minute walk and all St Andrews historical sites such as the harbour, Cathedral, Castle and University and are all within easy walking distance. Market Street and South Street with their numerous bars and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away. In addition to the Old Course, New Course, Eden and Jubilee Golf Courses there are multiple options all within a 20 minute drive. The Dukes Course, The Castle Course, Kings Barns, The Torrance, Dumbarnie, Leven, Lundin Links and Monifeith are all popular choices, but there are many more courses in the local area worthy of exploration. The nearest international airport is in Edinburgh which is less than 1 hours drive to the property. The town is also served by regular bus links with the nearest railway station situated in nearby Leuchars. The apartment is available for the entire month of July should clients be interested in extending their holiday before or after the duration of the Championship itself.
