Recently refurbished Coach house in West Kilbride, a 25 minute drive (19 miles) from Royal Troon.
Detached 3 bedroom tastefully decorated house with ample off road private parking for 2 cars. Sleeps 6. Garden and patio.
Ground floor layout, double bedroom next to spacious shower room. Hallway leading to well equipped kitchen and open plan living and dining area.TV and Wi Fi.
Upstairs, a twin room, spacious landing area with drying room. King size bedroom with built in wardrobes. Large bathroom with stand alone bath and separate shower cubicle. Towels and bedding provided.
The house is nestled on Aiknut hill with views over the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran. It is only a 10 minute walk to the village which has an excellent bakers, butchers, chemist, fruit and veg shop ,Co-op, Spar and craft shops.
There are cafes and takeways in the village and a Spanish tapas restaurant at the station. Seamill Hydro and Seamill house hotel have restaurants and bars for non residents. The Waterside hotel is also recommended for dining out, all within walking distance.
There is an 18 hole links golf course just a 5 minute car journey and also courses at Largs, Routenburn, Largs golf Club, Western Gailes at Irvine which are all approx. a 20 minute drive.
There are lovely beach walks and places of interest are: Portencross castle, Culzean castle, Burns cottage. Large seaside town is a 20 minute drive where there is a ferry to the Isle of Cumbrae and the town of Millport.
Glasgow airport 40 min drive. Prestwick airport 30 min drive.
Ardrossan harbour 10 minute drive where there is a regular ferry service to Arran. West Kilbride has its own railway station with a direct line to Largs and Glasgow central station.
