The Open 2025 Accommodation

Accommodation for The Open situated in a beautiful rural location just five miles from Newry City. On almost an acre site of mature gardens, it offers seclusion and serenity. The city of Newry has numerous great bars and restaurants, just five minutes drive from the property. The house itself has five double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. There is an additional two bathrooms. There is a large kitchen/dining area, leading onto a patio, along with a snug living room and a large sunroom overlooking the garden. The sunroom contains a 12ft projector screen to watch the golf on. If time permits, there are lovely local country walks available. The accommodation is a 20 minute drive from the World famous Royal County Down Golf Course. Additionally, depending on time, and your handicap, you can play golf at Warrenpoint, Greenore, Kilkeel or more locally at Mayobridge. All courses cater for all abilities. Adjacent to the main property, there is an additional residence, which can cater for an additional two guests. Parking is available on the property for up to eight cars. If transport is required from the airport, that can be arranged. The accommodation is located one hours drive from both Belfast and Dublin International airports.
