The Open 2025 Accommodation
Modern cottage in the middle of the scenic Roe Valley which is part of the Causeway Coastal Route.
The cottage consists of hall, two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen, utility room - one bedroom with king size bed, other bedroom with one double and one single bed.
Hairdryers, iron, ironing board, cleaner etc are supplied.
Fully equipped kitchen / utility room with dishwasher, washing machine. Rayburn oil fired cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine along with a full range of cooking utensils.
Takeaways can be ordered and delivery (may be an additional charge) is available to the cottage.
A welcome basket with locally produced items is provided for your arrival.
Bathroom has a bath and separate walk in shower with foldaway seat suitable for those that may have a disability.
Lounge has a sofa with end recliners, 2 arm chairs and occasional chairs as well as TV with firestick and an electric fire.
WIFI is also included in the cottage (free of charge) and we have 5g locally.
Toy box, games, books and information leaflets on local areas of attraction are provided.
High chair and travel cot is available on request.
Outside in the large enclosed garden is a 5-6 person "LA Spa" hot tub with views over the surrounding countryside including the River Roe. Garden furniture, slide and a swing set is also provided. You will have unlimited use of the hot tub for the duration of your stay with towels and dressing gowns provided.
There is parking for numerous vehicles including cars and vans.
We are 45 approx miles from Belfast International Airport, 55 miles from Belfast City Airport and 52 miles from Stena ferry terminal in Belfast. The roads are mainly motorway, dual carriageway and A class roads.
We are within 40 mins driving distance from attractions such as Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, the historic city of Derry/Londonderry, Benone Beach and Dark Hedges and 1 hour will take you to Belfast to visit Titanic . An express bus service to Belfast stops 4 miles from the cottage in the town of Dungiven on an hourly basis. Donegal is also on our doorstep & usually there is a summer ferry 20 mins away from Magilligan Point to Greencastle in Donegal.
Limavady and Dungiven are both approx 4 miles from Roe Valley Cottage have numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops and takeaways.
We have a number of excellent golf courses nearby, all of which are within a maximum of a 40min drive.
